this is a little toy to give you a taste of what it would be like to switch to the dvorak keyboard layout. There is no proof that dvorak is better that qwerty in terms of speed, but many users find dvorak to be a more comfortable writing experience. It has been used to manage RSI in typists. I personally used it as a way to learn how to properly touch type . It's a massive amount of work, it's of questionable benefit, there are other much faster typing methods such as stenotype

place you hands on the home row and use the image to guide what letters to type

Interested in trying the switch for real?

there are online typing tutors here, here and here (many with emulate dvorak on qwerty)
you can change your keyboard in the software of your device
if you want to change your physical keyboard (I recommend against that because it makes learning touch typing harder) you can pop off the keys on keyboards and laptops, be careful, particularly on laptops.
or you can just buy/make stickers or a custom keycap'd keyboard.
